Answer:
Wa 'alaikumus greetings
Bismillah was shalatu was Salamu 'bad Rasulillah, amma ba'du,
We did not find any evidence to suggest fasting before the ceremony. Especially if the goal in order to seek blessings so that families can be eternal. Therefore, should not this practice is believed to be part of the teachings of Islam, before being matched with a sunnah of the Prophet  sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam  and his companions.
In order for Marriage Endowed
In fact the Prophet  sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam  and his companions have taught the practice for the newlyweds, the permanence of the family. There are two practices that can be done,
Firstthe post-ceremony prayer
When first met after the ceremony, organized to pray for her husband to his wife. How: husband put his right hand on the crown of his wife make sure no one third- then read three things:
1. Basmalahs
2. Pray for blessing for both of us, for example:
اللهم بارك لي فيها, وبارك لها في
O barik laha fiyya wa barik iii fiiha
"O Allah make him a blessing to me, and make me a blessing for him."
3. Read the following prayer,
O Inni as aluka khaira-ha-wa ma khaira jabaltaha 'alaihi wa a-'udzu bika syarriha min ma wa min syarri jabaltaha' alaihi
"O Allah, I beg his kindness and goodness of character that he had brought. And I seek refuge from the ugliness and evil nature that he had brought. "
Evidence based on the hadith of Abdullah bin Amr bin Ash, that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
"When you marry a woman, then grab him by the forelock, mention the name of God, and pray for applying blessing, and say:  O Inni as-aluka .... and so on. "(HR. Bukhari in  al-Ibad Af'al  p. 77, 1/336 Abu Daud, Ibn Majah 1/592, 1/185 Justice, and dihasankan al-Albanian)
Second , the first night prayers
The first night prayers performed in congregation, led the husband and wife.
A Successors named Abu Said had told of his experiences,
I married a woman, while I was still a boy. Then I invited some companions of the Prophet  sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam . Among them is Ibn Masud, Abu Dhar, and Hudzifah radhiallahu'anhum.
Then it was time for prayers, Abu Dharr rushed for lead the prayers. But they said, 'Ye (Abu Sa'id) who entitled to!' Because the host is entitled to lead her guests. I went forward and led them in prayer. When I was still a boy.
Then they taught me,
"If your wife came to you, both of you should pray two cycles. Then ask God for the good of your wife and seek refuge with Him from its evil. Then it's up to you two. "(HR. Ibn Abi Shaybah Al-Mushannaf no. 29733 and validated by al-Albanian)
Another argument is the history of Syaqiq, he said,
There was a man named Abu Hariz. He relates:
"I married a virgin who was young, and I'm afraid he's going to hate me. Then Ibn Mas'ud advising,
"I love it from Allah and hatred of demons to hate something which Allah made lawful to you. If your wife comes to you, tell your wife to perform salat behind two cycles. Then say,
"O Allah, grant blessing to me and my wife, and bless them for me. O God, bestow upon me because of them, and feed them through me. Ya Allah, arrange between us (both) in favor and separate us (both) in the pros. "(Narrated by Ibn Abi Shaybah in al-Mushannaf no. 17156 and validated Al-Albanian).
